Sean “Diddy” Combs Sentenced to More Than Four Years in Prison

Sean “Diddy” Combs, the famous music producer and entrepreneur, has been sentenced to 50 months in federal prison, which is just over four years. The sentencing took place on October 3, 2025, in a U.S. federal court.

The case involved charges connected to prostitution-related activities. Prosecutors accused Combs of transporting people across state lines for illegal encounters. He was found guilty on two charges earlier this year but was cleared of more serious accusations, including racketeering and sex trafficking.

Judge Arun Subramanian handed down the sentence, explaining that it was necessary to hold Combs accountable and to send a message that no one is above the law.

Combs has already spent more than a year in custody since his arrest, and that time will count toward his sentence. After his prison term, he will be under supervised release for five years and must also pay a fine of $500,000.

During the hearing, Combs apologized and expressed regret for his actions. His legal team announced that they plan to appeal the conviction.
